SQVL-MESH

Combining personal navigation and team coordination on one live map

About this project

The Android and iOS alpha provides a shared field map, background positioning, tactical symbols, MGRS navigation, a compass, and private KMZ layers. Android V3 team rooms, member management, read-only Admin observation, and lifecycle recovery are physically accepted against an isolated review relay.

Project brief

Agent-ready context

Problem

Field teams need one current operational picture, but positions, participant state, local maps, and team access are usually split across separate tools and unreliable channels.

System

A React Native client-server platform combines background GPS, tactical mapping, local KMZ layers, typed network contracts, and server-authorized team rooms behind a transport-neutral communication boundary.

Input

Android and iOS clients provide GPS measurements, profile and casualty-state revisions, room membership, network events, and user-selected KMZ files processed locally on the device.

Output

A shared team map with position freshness, MGRS navigation, tactical identity, local terrain layers, isolated room state, reconnect recovery, and privacy-safe diagnostics.

Evidence

Version 0.12.11 has 483 passing automated checks. The hardened Android V3 Lobby lifecycle passed a complete Pixel and Sony physical matrix against the isolated review relay, while the shared map and background positioning remain accepted on Android and iOS.

Status

Working alpha and community-test candidate. Team Lobby remains Android-only, protocol V3 has not replaced the public relay, pre-public security and sustained 128-client tests remain open, and Meshtastic BLE is not yet integrated.
